As manufacturers of extrusion dies, we’ve witnessed continuous technological advancements over the years. These advancements have allowed Kimia Pardaz Arian (KPA) to improve our manufacturing methods, efficiency, quality, and service.
Our CAM specialists fully program Solid & Porthole Die Plates using CNC technology. Recent advancements in cutting technology, particularly with coated carbide cutters, have revolutionized machining by enabling high-speed operations with minimal distortion, resulting in precise clearances and tongue support. Mandrels or Bridge-Parts are also fully CNC-manufactured to ensure utmost accuracy, balance, and consistency.
Modern Factory
KPA employs cutting-edge equipment. Optical probe technology is integrated into all CNC Milling & Lathe Tools and EDM Wire Machines to accurately calculate the center and orientation of the Die blank, ensuring maximum precision and repeatability.
Solid & Porthole Die Plates
For Solid & Porthole Die Plates, EDM Wire Cutting is used to precisely shape the profile and achieve a high-quality surface finish.
Our machines boast 5 Axis capabilities, allowing us to cut angled bearings or a combination of angled and straight bearings as needed. Wire cut technology guarantees that the bearing angle is perfectly square.
Mandrels or Bridge-Parts
Similarly, for Mandrels or Bridge-Parts, EDM Spark erosion is utilized to detail the inner sections and undercuts, resulting in more balanced feeds on multi-core sections.
